Hi, I'm Naireta. I'm running for council because I believe in a Stratford that listens, includes everyone, and moves forward together. Let's build it side by side.
About Me
I am a Stratford neighbour, a successful property manager, and the person behind Mirapac Properties. My work has taught me how closely housing, affordability, safe neighbourhoods, and responsible local decisions are connected in people's everyday lives.
I am running for council because Stratford needs practical leadership that listens first and follows through. I believe residents should be able to build a stable life here, whether they are raising a family, running a small business, looking for secure housing, or trying to make ends meet.
With my Southeast Asian background and hands-on experience helping people navigate real-world problems, I want council to be more accessible to communities that are too often left out of local decisions. I am focused on housing, property taxes, food security, local business, agriculture, youth opportunity, and healthcare access that support Stratford's future.
My goal is simple: a livable, connected Stratford where every resident has a voice at the table and every public dollar is used with care.
Agenda
My agenda is focused on practical affordability, stronger neighbourhoods, and growth that respects the people and businesses already invested in Stratford.
I will work for more housing choices, fair property taxes, and better local support for shelters and residents facing housing insecurity, so Stratford remains a place where people can afford to stay.
I will build bridges between long-time residents, newcomers, families, seniors, and Stratford's growing Southeast Asian community through local events, accessible services, and welcoming public spaces.
I will help minority and newcomer communities get clearer access to housing information, city services, small business resources, family supports, and the everyday guidance that makes local life easier.
I will support food bank expansion and stronger community partnerships so more residents can access affordable, reliable food with dignity, especially during periods of rising costs.
I will create more reasons for young people to build their future in Stratford, with better pathways to local jobs, skills training, entrepreneurship, recreation, and access to healthcare close to home.
I will support the small businesses, property owners, farms, markets, and local employers that keep Stratford resilient, with practical policies that encourage growth and reduce unnecessary barriers.
